Clinton Global Initiative: CGI Annual Meeting, CGI Latin America & CGI America

From 2011- 2015, David and his team at Spark collaborated with CGI’s permanent staff to design, develop and oversee the high-level aspects of programming for the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting, CGI International and CGI America meetings. Initially starting in a consulting role for the first CGI America, David eventually led the program team for CGI Latin America, and oversaw key elements of the CGI Annual meeting and CGI America. We crafted and wrote program agendae and managed plenaries from concept to on-site execution. This included overseeing CGI’s team of working group and breakout managers, directing invitation and speaker-tracking teams, and coordinating with the show flow teams. Spark identified, recruited and prepared top CEO’s, Heads of State, Foundation and NGO leadership, philanthropists and celebrities for participation. We also worked directly with President Clinton & Secretary Clinton and their staffs, and wrote briefing memos, talking points & moderator questions for both.
